CREATIVE MACHINE KNITTING
by Ruth Lee
The very first books available to Americans when knitting machines were introduced to this country many years ago, assumed the American knitters were as adventurous and experienced as European knitters. Patterns left much to the imagination. At long last, this book will fill in many of the gaps left by the earlier books, but without overlooking the excitement of experimentation. There is a section on knitting to fit, and an emphasis on some hand-manipulated techniques which are more time consuming but, the author feels, more satisfactory in the long run.
